wolfgang puck

Wolfgang Puck a native Austrian is probably one of the most influential chefs in America today. He is one of the  pioneers  of California cuisine, and the king of designer pizzas. Spago was my first gig out of cooking school, and working for Wolf was truly amazing. His passion, commitment, and enthusiasm for food is unparalleled.  This year Wolfgang was honored at Chefs and Champagne, and rightfully so. He has given so much back to America, Chefs, and the cuisine itself. It is because of him that our profession is now a truly honorable one. He has raised the level of food and ingredients in this country. I as so excited to honor one of my first mentors at Chefs and Champagne. Cheers to you Wolfgang!!!

An annual event that takes place in the Hampton’s each year to benefit the James Beard Foundation. The event takes place at Wolfert Estate Winery in East Hampton just off of Mantuak highway.  The boys, Chef, Cody, Jason, at the gig workin it! Handing out tasty treats to the rich and famous in East Hampton, where Gucci, Prada, Versace, and Cartier are everyday duds! We had a blast, so maybe we will go back next year!
